Yampa River

Jana pulled a permit for the Yampa river and then bailed, so I had to pretend to be Jana and TL (trip leader) for the trip.  Ben actually did a lot of the logistics, but I was in charge of the menu, shopping and food.  Mikey was unable to come because of school so I had to be a big girl and be in charge of our raft.  Luckily, Matt was a really great helper and I built my confidence in rigging my own boat and got a lot of oaring in.  It was a beautiful stretch with fantastic campsites, amazing food, some awesome BASE jumps by Matt, and a great group of friends.
